Round 4, paintings

This is a pastel piece. It was inspired by a photo of 2 angles of a girl's face (not 2 girls who are about to kiss, sorry fellas!).

This is an acrylic painting. Freshman year of college art class submission. She has been called "Square Girl".

Round 3, paintings, pastels and mixed media, OH my!

My first pastel, ever! Done in high school art class. I instantly fell in love with pastels.
"Face Pieces"...another pastel done in high school (ah the good old days).
This is an acrylic painting. It was sold via Harrika's Brew Haus in Swansboro, NC.I hope it is now in a happy and loving home.
Mixed media piece. Lots of fun to do. Lives at Pam and John's in Bettie, NC.
"The Kiss". One of my all-time favorites. Pastel. The original lives in our dining room, but there have been many reproductions.

Round 2, some new and old stuff

This was a quick one to paint. Acrylic on a little 16 x 20 canvas.
Sea Horse-y!
This was donated to the Habitat for Humanity action in Charleston, SC.
Blind contour self portrait (idea is courtesy of my kick ass high school art program).
FEEEESHES! This one lives in the Charleston, SC Harrika's Brew Haus.

Round 1, photos of artwork

Crazy looking girl. This is a semi-self portrait that was the product of being forced into cold-call sales with no training or warning (man, why did I ever leave that job?).
3 faces...one of my favorites! Painted while living on Darlington Avenue during a hurricane. Lou Lou feesh supervised.
The Big Swirl...love this painting. It is big. It is a swirl. It is hanging in my living room.
Hemby's painting. Given for a 20-something birthday present.
This one is still in progress. It is hanging in Harrika's Brew Haus in Swansboro, NC
